What is Group listening?
Group listening is a new way to consume content on youtube.
It enables you to listen and watch content in a more social way,
Sometimes it is better experiencing content with others than alone,
and we are glad to provide our users with the opportunity for a better experience,
so all you got to do is join a group and start to experience it.
Who is it for?
For everyone of course :) - but here are a few use cases we thought of:

Want to share your favorite music with the rest of the office
and let your colleagues contribute to the playlist? now you can. -
The musical adventure.
Join one of the many groups (Classic Rock, jazz, Opera, etc) and start your musical adventure.
Real-time playlist curated by humans, not by an algorithm. -
Far from home?
This does not mean you can't listen to music with your loved ones or even watch videos together.
Create a group, invite your loved ones and that's it - your own private place until you meet again.

Based on the group settings users are able to add content they like, and each user has a number of veto votes he can use when he does not like something.

Each group can be configured to your liking - including group name, private group or public, the number of vetos per user, who can invite a user to a group and much more.
