The National Library of Israel – Home Page

Founded in Jerusalem in 1892, the National Library of Israel (NLI) holds the collective memory of Israelis of all backgrounds and faiths and the Jewish people worldwide.

After many years in which the library site was out of date and outdated and was far from serving our users, in 2020 we launched a new home page.

The Work on the home page included, among other things, benchmarking, user research, user polls, metrics analysis of the old site, and working closely with various stakeholders in order to be able to refine all the needs and requirements into one page that effectively meets those goals.

Significant improvements were observed in all site metrics following the site’s launch.
